Haha, indeed…it was very much the right idea, maybe a little too early.  Survivor had everyone’s attention in 2001.  And who would’ve thought it would still be on air in 2012?  Networks would love fantasy baseball-type buzz, and with social networking…well, maybe it’s time.

In 2001 I was working on doing this for Survivor (remember working on that Karni?).  Anyway I have always been surprised that there has not been more types of gaming/gambling activities around shows like Survivor and Bachelor where people are tossed off every week.

I think this is a area that someone could build something big especially since the networks/advertisers would want to help this succeeded.

My friend (@RyanNoggle) and I have been doing this since the early days of the Apprentice (remember that show?) It’s even more fun with the Bachelor and Bachelorette. Moar Drama! 

Take a look at my Fantasy Bachelorette Rules for this season. 

1. Watch tonight (May 14, 9:30pm). Take notes on who’s a stud and who’s a dud. 

2. Find friends to play with (4 or 5 teams is best) and draft contestants before the Second Episode airing on May 21. Yes, you have 1 week to get your league together!

3. The longer you stay in, the more points you earn. Plus, there’s some fun bonus points and penalties along the way.

4. Use this guide to keep weekly score - note the tabs at the bottom.

5. Feel free to modify any of the rules. Have any good suggestions? Please add them as comments below!
